Who the Service Is For
Adventures Of is designed for parents and legal guardians to create stories for children. Adults create and control accounts and child profiles. Children should not create an account or submit personal information directly.
Information We Collect
Account information may include your name, email address, sign-in records, and preferences. A child profile may include a name, age, interests, favorites, reading level, content to avoid, and photos a parent chooses to upload. We also process story prompts, generated stories and illustrations, order and subscription details, support messages, and limited technical or usage data needed to operate and protect the service. Usage data can include feature interactions, reader progress, and a random identifier stored in the browser to group an anonymous session and prevent telemetry abuse; it does not contain a child's profile data.
How We Use Information
We use this information to create and deliver personalized stories, maintain your library and child profiles, process purchases and subscriptions, prevent abuse, provide support, and understand whether product features are working. We do not sell personal information or use a child's profile for targeted advertising.
Children's Privacy and Parent Controls
A parent or legal guardian must provide and manage information about a child. The account holder can review and edit a child profile and can permanently delete that profile, its stories, and associated data from the subscription management page. We limit collection to information used for the parent-requested service.
Photo Handling
Uploaded photos are temporarily stored so we can generate a reusable character reference. We attempt to delete the originals as soon as that reference is ready. Scheduled cleanup also targets profiles older than 24 hours. If a storage deletion fails, its key remains queued for a later cleanup attempt rather than being marked as deleted. The generated character reference and finished stories remain in the parent-controlled account until the relevant child profile is deleted. We do not use uploaded photos to train our own AI models.
Service Providers and AI Processing
We use service providers for hosting, authentication, payments, printing, email, and AI-assisted text and image generation. They receive information needed to perform those services and handle it under their own terms and privacy commitments. Stripe processes payment-card details; Adventures Of does not store complete card numbers.
Retention and Deletion
Profile and story data is retained while the account holder uses the service. A parent can delete an individual child profile and its associated content in the product. For account-level deletion or access requests, contact us at hello@adventures-of.com. We may retain limited transaction, fraud-prevention, security, or legal records where required, and deletion from encrypted backups may take additional time.
Security and Changes
We use access controls, encrypted connections, and operational safeguards intended to protect personal information. No online service can guarantee absolute security. If this policy changes materially, we will update the date above and provide any additional notice required for the change.
